An original class for children ages 5-7 years old, designed to develop from an early age the musicality of a child and not only. The young Music Explorers have the opportunity to learn the basic principles of Music and Musical Theatre. Through singing, movement, acting and music, students have the opportunity to develop their music perception, their artistic expression, to improve their communication, their emotional expression, creativity, alertness, memory and work on their teamwork skills. This course helps them integrate easily in music classes and musical theatre.
Music Explorers
Little Pianists
The Little Pianists class is a combination of pre-school music and Piano learning. Is a group lesson (up to four children per group with the same age range) from 4 to 6 years old.
It is a “magical” lesson that transforms children into young musicians, giving them the stimuli, sounds and all the skills needed to develop musically in the future whether they continue studying piano or any other musical instrument.
Music education is done through play, imitation, sounds and colors, imagination, creativity, joy and singing!
Moving later on to the individual, classical Piano lessons, the students are proven to make rapid progress having already mastered the musical reading, the pulse of music and the steady tempo! They know how to correctly position their hands on the piano keys, and work with their voice and ear, due to the interacting on with the other children in the group.
Even if Little Pianists continue with any other musical instrument (besides piano), this course will help them build their self-confidence and will integrate them into learning basic musical concepts that they will need to better understand and perceive their musical instrument and music in general.
It is also important that the students develop their imagination, enhance their memory, advance their creativity and increase their confidence through a fun and innovative lesson.
Little Drummers
The Little Drummers class is addressed to children aged from 5 to 7 years old and aims to acquaint children with the various percussion instruments as well as their basic techniques.
Through play and motivation, children have the opportunity to build the right foundations in the perception and learning of some basic musical concepts, such as rhythm, tempo and dynamics. Through the class, children have the opportunity to develop social skills as well, since participation in a group requires cooperation, teamwork and synchronization with the other children.
It is also important that the students develop their imagination, enhance their memory, advance their creativity and increase their confidence through a fun and innovative lesson.
