Teaching Philosophy
The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.
(Aristotle)
Rami Sarieddine aims to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to piano instruction that goes beyond the technical skill and musicianship. A student centered approach with the goal of establishing the relevant, solid foundation that leads in exploring the piano literature as an art of expression.
Drawing inspiration from conservatory style piano training, chamber music collaborations and the operatic world; strong emphasis is given on the interdisciplinary aspect of the art of piano playing and its literature.
