Sylvia Arnaouti – Moraga

Sylvia grew up in Rhodes where she began classical piano lessons classical at the age of 7. Then she studied at the music school of Rhodes, where she participated in many student competitions as a member of the mixed choir. In 2007 she started studying Music at the national and Kapodistrian University of Athens from where and got her diploma in 2012, while in 2016 completed her postgraduate studies in “Music, Culture and Communication: Anthropological and Communicational Approaches to Music” (Distinction) from this University. At the same time she received her diploma in Piano (Distinction), Harmony (Distinction), Counterpoint (Distinction)  and Fugue (Distinction) from the Hellenic Conservatory with Professor George Aravidis.

 

During her student years she was part of the mixed choir of the Department with which she participated in various concerts and competitions in Greece and abroad. She attended seminars and workshops in Cyprus and abroad about emerging trends in piano pedagogy and children’s choir.

 

Sylvia started working at Potenzia Del ‘ Arte from July 2018. She teaches piano, theory of music, Solfez, Dictee, accompanies students in the Hellenic and English Exams and is in charge of Little Pianists class. Since 2018 Sylvia is part of the Potenzia Summer School Activities Team.
