The Potenzia del ’arte Theater Workshop has classes for children aged 7 and over, divided by age. Through theatrical play, children are given the opportunity to get to know themselves better, to recognize their potential, but also to acknowledge their weaknesses. They discover their body and image, but also how others around them perceive them. They learn to love themselves for who they are. Theatrical play activates the imagination and observation and through various exercises the participants acquire a spirit of teamwork, learn to express themselves, to listen, to concentrate, to respect those around them, to be consistent and disciplined. All children have the opportunity to participate in theater performances of the school but also in auditions for commercials, professional theaters, musicals and television series.
THEATRICAL BEGINNINGS (ACT1)
Through dramatization, children (5-9 year olds) develop their relationship with others. They learn to cooperate, to retreat, to judge, to respect and put themselves in others’ perspectives. They overcome inhibitions, try new experiences & approaches, and develop their creative imagination.Children explore and discover many aspects of their life, of human existence and the world in general. They recognise the boundaries of fantasy and reality. They conquer knowledge through sensing, without the need for memorization or parroting.
THEATRICAL PLAY (ACT2)
Children (10-15 years old) explore and discover many aspects of their life, of human existence and the world in general. They recognise the boundaries of fantasy and reality. They conquer knowledge through sensing, without the need for memorization or parroting. Children (11-15 years old) learn to comprehend the connection between school and the general social environment. They improve their psychokinetic expression and discover new creative ways of communicating. They understand human relationships and their challenges. They familiarize themselves with the theatrical art and gain theatre education. They appreciate theatrical events and achievements.
TEATRICAL STUDIES (Monologues)
Teenagers (13+ years old) cultivate and develop the theatrical act through application learning, research and exploration. They improve their theatre education and perception, study how to approach a role in a play, and explore the importance of theatre in life. They prepare and present theatre plays and monologues.
